My favorite food is the Cuban food. When I arrived to Chile I did not know how to cook, but I learned to be able to share with my friendly and my family. Now that I learned to cook, normally on Saturdays I plan what will I cook on Sundays and I prepare the list of ingredients I writed down on a paper, so next morning I can take it with me to the supermarket.
On Sundays, while my family sleeps, I wake up early in the morning and go to the supermarket to make the purchases. I like I to go early, thus there is not so much people and I can choose better products. When I get home house I already put myself to cook. I delayed more or less 2 or 3 hours to have a real Cuban lunch… fried banana, rice, black kidney beans (soaked the previous night) and fried pig meat is my favorite.

You reminded me of "Little Havana","Calle 8 ,"Hialeah" and all those unforgettable areas of Downtown Miami where we the latins can be easily seen .(Wow! more and less thirty years ago used to go to a restaurant called "El Camello"(You must understand the reason of the name)and there the shop owner ,an extremely kind old lady (A real "pura" with her clients)offered to the gluttons like me "Mojito","Cuban Sandwich","Ropa Vieja",etc... drinks and dishes I have never forgotten as they were so yummy.).
Now going to your post, you must change to the following sentences."..I learned to share it with my Chilean...","..what I will cook on Sundays..","...I jot down the ingredients so next morning I can be clear of what I really need...",..."I like to go early","When I get back home,I devote my time to cook,it takes me more and less two or three hours to have a real Cuban lunch..." and "fried pork meat are my favorites".
Your teacher.
