On visit to the North

I like Chili as a very diverse wide country in biodiversity flora and fauna, but this place of which I want to write seems to be a desert as it´s name is. A few years ago we went, as family , to a trip to visit a place called San Pedro de Atacama, in the Atacama desert.  It was a gratifying credit been there. We went for a few days to the center of touristic activity, where everything is happening and  where sweat crosses the back.

We were not thinking about thirst nor about shower hot baths, because we were in the middle of the desert where night feels cold and wind blows and arranges the sands to give them a new form for the following day.
There are many places to visit and find paths and some rest of houses that had belong to ancients, between sand and sun you can manage to find in the way to the salar and a different kind of lagoon for its blue color where a bath makes you recover the weariness of the trip.

If you get into the salar, you will find that desert exists and reserve form migratory birds as you were in a picture.  But if you want to find something mistic to enjoy you should wait for the sunset and dream that you are in another planet… Marte for example?

Transform the wrong sentences into the following ones." I like Chile on account of its biodiversity...","this strip of land I wish to write about...","just as its name is...","where everything is happening and the sweat runs down your back","...hot shower baths...","..that belonged to past civilizations,","you manage to find the way to the endless salars","as if you were in a postcard","anything mystic","..Mars for example".
Your teacher.
PS.I've never been to San Pedro but it must be awesome to listen to the sound of silence in the breathtaking still of the Chilean north.!( I guess you must have seen some flamingos drinking water over there.)
